Vision of the Rising Hawk
 
       
   

1. I will, above all else, respect and honor the Spirit of life that resides in all things.

2. I will be vigilant to maintain a high degree of awareness, knowing that there are no coincidences, and that the Spirit of Creation is sending signals to guide me.

3. I will take time each day to give thanks to Creation for the beautiful mystery that is my life, and for the limitless possibilities to create that each new day brings.

4. I will be generous to those who are weak or in need, knowing that giving is the highest expression of my Spirit, and vital to realizing my true purpose.

5. I will always work to protect nature and to the best of my ability, leave it as I found it - undisturbed.

6. I will always remember that all life is connected, and to do harm to any is to do harm to all.

7. I will be patient in all things, for in patience lies peace, and in peace my Spirit's great power can flow unhindered to accomplish every purpose.

8. I will each day rise up like the hawk and evaluate my life from above, using this higher perspective to ensure that my mental, physical and spiritual energies are in balance.

9. I will always remember that my Spirit is a powerful creative force, and I will only use this force for good.

10. I will cultivate the "hawk's eye view" of my life, soaring above petty challenges and annoyances to refresh my Vision, restore my strength, and renew my commitment to my life's purpose.

In conjunction with the principles of Power, Purpose, Perspective, and Peace that are taught in our workshops, seminars, and in the book Spirit of the Rising Hawk©, these ten principles are the code by which the Knights and Paladins of the Order of the Rising Hawk® guide their life.

Just as the Code of Chivalry was an unerring compass that guided the actions of many Knights during the medieval age, adhering to the principles of the Vision of the Rising Hawk© is a guide that always leads to right action, power and wholeness. It is a source of strength, honor, and integrity for all of those who follow its precepts.

To live by this code is to be in supreme balance with Creation, and an asset to humanity - a true child of the Rising Hawk.
